Thanks so much to all who were willing to impart their knowledge/experience regarding the Wyoming Bison hunts on the National Elk Refuge. Drew this tag and sought help on the forum and was amazed at how willing everyone was to help with general hunt info, butchering and processing options etc. Special thanks goes to Stig87, Ryansven and ssliger for helping me out via PM's, phone calls and even meeting for coffee.
Drove in to Jackson early December 27th, went straight to the refuge and was right in the middle of Bison action right off the bat. Weather was amazing, 10-15 degrees, no wind and sunny. Dropped a gorgeous cow within an hour and the hunt was over.
Again, thanks to all who helped. And if you draw this tag please feel free to PM me, I'd be happy to help!
