It's got the 6.6L V8, the 351-400 engine. Stock I think it was 133hp but this was muscle car era and this has a ton of torque, it has no trouble towing or hauling (provided you can keep it cool!) But apparently the engine was worked over by a previous owner, built hotter than usual with a Holley 4bbl carb and some other bells and whistles. It'll be a while before I can drive it (I have the whole dashboard torn out to restore it) but I'm tempted to dyno it to see what it can do.What engine and gear ratio does it have out of curiosity?
Dang! Lookin' good! I sure wish I had that 383 for my '90 burb. I have a horribly underpowered crate 350 in it now. Just had it put in about 4 years ago. Wish I would've thought through that more at the time...someday I hope to put one of these puppies in there!Been doing body work on the Ol Jeep. Should be ready for paint in a couple weeks. Picked up a 383 for it for street and dunes. Saving the 427 for race season. View attachment 38684View attachment 38685View attachment 38686
Looking good man! I'm about to dive into some body work on my 68 burb. I have the parts for the drivers quarter panel, kick panel, and floor to do some replacement/patchwork. Hopefully soon I can post some pics!finally got it black again. Have some work to do to get it perfect but it’s going to look good I think. View attachment 39284View attachment 39284
