I killed this buck on Oct 26, 2013 during second rifle season. I hunted hard for 5 days and found over 15 different bucks but nothing I wanted to shoot. On my last morning I decided to go to a spot where I had seen a few does the night before to see if I could spot a shooter buck. I was making my way up the mountain when I bumped a few does so I decided to spend the next few hours glassing the area. As luck would have it I spotted this guy running a doe down the mountain right on the trail I came in on. I grabbed my pack and started down the mountain after him. After about 15 minutes of down hill jogging I finally spotted him standing in a open park with a doe. I quickly ranged him at 185 yards and decided to take a prone shot. Once I got settled I found him in my scope and took the shot. He ran 50 yards before he went down. I feel very blessed to have killed two nice bucks back to back in the same area. I love hunting and can't wait to pass this awesome sport down to my children. IMG_0003.jpg

It's a great spot but tough to hike into. One of those spots that I won't be able to get to when I'm an old man if you know what I mean. Here is my buck I took last year in the same spot.image.jpg

That reminds me of a story I heard on John boy and Billy. They were out fishing when a bunch of PETA people showed up in canoes and started slapping their paddles on the water while yelling "Fish Feel Pain" "Fish Feel Pain"
Billy said your gonna feel some f**** pain you keep screwing up my fishing trip. Lol
