Congrats on the shed find extreme! If I found them where I hunted my first instinct would have been palmated mule deer too as I've never seen a moose where I hunt. In the end you got something way cooler not many people have a matching set of Moose sheds.

Okay you have had a lot of fun at my expense We are going to stay with mule deer and graft on two drop tines. I can use a Nebraska mule deer cape. The TV show guys, American Stuffers will do the work. People in Arkansas wont know the difference, either.
I'm BEGGING you to post a picture of this after it's done.

I vote mule deer here. I have video of this buck from 2012. He has put on some mass and miles since then as I took the video from which these images were cut from about 1000 miles to the north west in Idaho.

Okay, in all seriousness, this is probably a bull moose we are looking at. If it had eye gaurds like the one in my photos, then I would say muley. Good find!

Now you have me thinking about it again. I could never image a moose where these sheds were found, nothing but a few small cedar, a mountain side spring on a steep side. No way to see it except to be there, 1 1/2-2 miles from the end of a jeep trail. I doubt I will ever go there again. I hunted this country 40 years ago.
