Getting your random numbers and the seed numbers will get you extremely close to knowing if you'll draw. You can calculate exactly how many other random numbers will be between the seed number and you, coupled with the number of tags allotted for that portion of the draw, you'll know right were you sit. For my "best" chance there will be 150 apps between the seed and me, and 50 tags, assuming a random distribution of those numbers across the applicant pool.

That sounds like a good plan Joe. I'm going to have to teach my girls how to shoot a bow, they are in for the late Metolius Archery hunt, one of them is sure to draw with less than one percent chance right?

I sure hope it's today. This anticipation is killing me. I almost wish they would have a drop dead release date so I wouldn't feel the need to check and see if it is going to be early.

I don't know why I am getting pumped up about it. I only have one realistic first choice and one second choice and even those are 50/50 or less.

Well heck, guess I don't need to hurry over to scout. Nothing for me and all but archery elk has posted.... :(

Drew my Columbia Whitetail tag. Now I just need one of the three bucks I saw last fall to stick around. Last time we had a good tag (my daughter's) they all got blue tongue and died before season.
