70 hour weeks, full time student, a 5 year old and a 2 year old. I looked at my profile here on eastmans yesterday and chuckled. "Soon to be dad" now I've got this.

Actually, it was great. Lots of places to roam, hunt, and fish nearby. It's a small close-knit town where everyone still waves as they drive by. I'm still in contact with many of my classmates even though we graduated nearly 30 years ago.
If you are there during Memorial Day be sure to check out some of the Jim Butler Day's festivities. It's a celebration of the date that silver was discovered. The mining events are a must see. Double jack drilling is my favorite event.

Ya its a interesting place the chevron -burger king seems to be the latest boom a lot of cool history there Belmont is another cool place and its one of the most remote places left.

I lived there and moved away for college long before the Chevron was there. Even before the McDonalds opened in the early 90's.
My brother owned a small house in Manhatten. Another cool remote place.

We never go anywhere for Memorial Day, I hate dealing with all the crowds and drunk idiots. We bought a new 5th wheel so we are going to a Rv camp ground this year. Hopefully there is just a bunch of retired folks there. lol I'm sure they get roudy too but they go to bed early!

Ewe is about the only thing I didn't put in for this year... do they eat good? Living in Vegas they are in your back yard so I would think it's an in-demand hunt.
