I need to make time to really look around in Goldfield too.

This past x-mas we saw a really tall antelope buck on a waterhole not too far outside of Goldfield. I've seen a herd there 2 years in a row. Bad thing is they give very few tags in that area.

Ah, goldfield. Let me tell you a story about goldfield.. got stuck there for 3 days after 3 buddies decided we would take a spontaneous road trip. Arrived and started out well, then my buddy decided that it would be a swell idea to spin a Brodies in the frozen grocery store parking lot. Well.. the ford festiva disagreed with his idea and threw a piston rod straight thru the engine block. We were in high school at the time, I called my old man "hay, I need you to come get us we're in goldfield we have school tomorrow a blown up car and no money" his response was "good luck, don't be late for school" luckily a local let us crash at his place while we racked our brains on how to get home. We slept in a shanty (the locals house) cuddled with a 200lb mangy husky for 2 nights to keep from freezing to death. Haven't been back since. After 3 days my dad showed up with a trailer, we loaded the car and headed home. He didn't say a single word to us for the 3.5 hour drive.

Just messing with you. I grew up in Tonopah. My best friend grew up in a house (trailer) just out of the frame of your picture to the left. His bedroom window overlooked the cemetery. He still doesn't believe in ghosts.
