I had a really interesting application this year. Had an Arizona archery elk tag in my pocket so all my choices were altered for the time slot combos and spacing. This included a lot of very late hunts I could fly in for. But all long shots even with 18 points. Don't need another tag so any would just be a bonus.

I did plan on putting in for archery bull and California bighorn, along with my usual archery deer and bear. I had a few things go on the last few weeks that have changed plans. Bonus points for everything but archery deer and bear. Come on bear tag

We are in the same boat, Zim. My wife has a very nice AZ elk tag in the pocket and my son and I will be burning points here in Oregon for a pretty descent archery elk hunt, so it has really altered the rest of this year's apps. If we hit on anything else, it will be a spectacular tag!

No actually I've not had a good elk tag in three years, Wyoming. So I was due.

No AZ elk tags since 2001. I've been building points for my wife, my six kids and myself. We were certainly due!
