Congrats on a great buck and I am sure an absolute adventure. Keep the photos coming. I love seeing them. Ike
Thanks everyone!!! The last 3 years I?ve grown a lot as a hunter, and I?m feeling very humbled and grateful for everything

Could not find a mulie over 1.5 years old during my week long central ID hunt, couldn't find a mulie in my scouting and cameraing and hunting of the last eastern WA muzzy season...not one that wasn't a fork or spike :/ So here's the results of a dismal mule deer season for me...20171120_103231_resized.jpg20171130_074722_resized.jpg

Spotted this guy with seven or eight does across the valley. Put the sneak on them and got to within 450 yards, but felt that was too far for me. So just kept sneaking and kept getting closer and closer. Thought I lost him and just kept working to where I last saw them.

Spotted one doe and then belly crawled to the top of the hill. Saw a four point buck, but he was not the shooter. He bedded down about halfway up the hill, and then the shooter appeared. He was 212 yards per the rangefinder.

One shot with a 7mag and he was rolling down the hill dead. That was the first shot ever at a deer with the 7mag. Pumped!!!

Congratulations on an awesome buck! I took my first deer with a 280 and have used a 7MM Rem Mag ever since. Love those 160 7MM bullets!
