I'm looking to upgrade my pack, to much punishment last fall. I'm just not as tough as I used to be I guess.

Well I just purchased a Kuiu icon pro 5200 and am way excited to get to use it this coming year. Other than that, I'm gearing up for backpack hunting so I have a few things on my list. I still think I'm most excited about the pack though.

I was thinking about a Scott thumb release. When did all sights, rests and releases start costing almost $200??

I just bought a new truck...upgraded my towing and hunting truck.

When I bought the 2012 in April, I really wanted a shortbed and my dealer didn't have hardly any inventory. I was in last week about a problem with the 2012 (4wd wasn't working) and they had several really nice low mileage used trucks like I wanted. The GM is a good friend and he gave me exactly what I paid for the 2012 on trade. This 2013 is a diesel, 4x4, shortbed, d\crewcab with the Lariat package, it has everything. Wrote him a check for a small amount & gave him title to the 2012. NICE TRUCK!

hoshour, I need to checkout the mountain hunter. Hopefully I'll have time at the Sheep show in Reno towards the end of the month. I just hate to leave my model 70 extreme weather 7mm, it just keeps shooting better!

Gotta get a programmer/tuner for that truck and delete the egr and dpf. Your mileage will improve and the engine will run much better.

Gotta get some miles towing on it before I do anything. Leaving a week from today for Yuma, Az for some quail hunting and a regional cowboy shoot, towing my 28' travel trailer.

I purchased several items for back country hunt last year so am looking forward to using it all! Only got to use new sleeping bag last year. Also looking to upgrade binos and rangefinder and get a spotter.
