Yes, everyone that applied for a general tag in the special draw last year drew a tag. Including 2nd and 3rd choice. Not sure that will happen again this year though as that draw has seen an increase of about 300 applicants each year over the passed few years. Hope I'm wrong though, I applied 2nd choice.
How has the winter been in western Wyoming? Expecting to draw general tag with my father for unit 102.
I sure do hope it is earlier this year, but I hate to say it, the last day to modify this year was February 3 and has been February 3 since at least 2011.
http://water.weather.gov/precip/ This is the link I use, generally the 90 - 180 day views. It appears OK, but not wet, but it is a desert. What does it average 6-8" a year? Much can come in Spring/Summer rains. Antelope horn growth is different, so early spring into summer will probably be what you want to watch.
There will be creep....all the legislative issues that came up this off season will get people off the fence...
