I hear NW is coming back. Hope it will get back to the way it was in the 90'sI've found people like their scored better when I cut the first 2 inches off the tape and measure.
VF I 'd say you have some pretty good intel on Northern Washoe.
The Harvest report says a 17 incher was killed there. Did you ever see it?
Never saw a 17" loper but I really had my hands tied. Had only 2 days to hunt. I am gonna make sure next time I draw it I'll spend at least 5 days hunting and hopefully at least that many days scouting. There is so much area and lopers, it takes time to learn itI've found people like their scored better when I cut the first 2 inches off the tape and measure.

I did get like 4 days of scouting but 3 were essentially wasted with small lopers seen
You don't even need to do that. You could kill a 80"+ just drivin around and just checkin other side of ridges that you can't see from the road. It's definitely a top tier tag though imoWell I'm going to tell my dad to apply for the Rifle tag and tag along if he draws.
I'm thinking we might be able to cover a lot of country in the roadless area with horses.
