Exactly. I didn't want to feel pressured to finish early, or turn around 3 week later and make the trek from Oregon back to Wyoming.

But….I am still in the game for OR rut muzzy blacktail (no spell check NOT blackmail), sheep (OR, MT and AZ) and some other odds and ends locally.

I really dont like to have more then 1 tag thats hard to get each year unless there is plenty of time in between them and Im talking with 5 points not 20+! lol

Musket & Umpqua I'm not sure why we are on here...... obviously we just like talking since we don't have a horse in this Res. Race.

Speaking of Oregon...... Can I get some help from the master hunter in loin cloth and G Loomis hat when I draw Steens antelope ?
I don't have a clue about hunting antelope but I am a quick study and I sure have had enough sage brush muley stalks busted by them:eek:

Just because we dont have a horse in the race this year doesnt mean we dont like to watch the race and get ready to enter a horse next year:D

If I draw one of the Oregon tags my wife may shoot me or at least take away my visa card....:eek:
The tag fund is screaming!!!!! Hey wait a minute gas will cost more than the OR antelope or sheep tag!:rolleyes:

I think I need to just burn my 4 deer points somewhere next year so I can hunt a few regions I can draw with no points but not 2nd choice.
