Not for certain but I think his name is Lawrence, it has a guy named Lawrence from Colfax with 41-42 Late Loper.

Unit 263 has been the toughest sheep hunt odds in the state for non-residents to draw, typically 1500-3000 applicants per tag. Success has run 90-100%. Every year there are 170+ rams taken and the average tends to run in the mid to low 160's which is an excellent average for desert sheep. A B&C ram must net 168 points to make book, so it is a very real possibility.

Here is how Huntin Fool report on the unit for this year:

Highland and McCullough Mtns. — This unit is experiencing a die-off at this time. Apply with caution. Usually 150-170" rams available. One of our outfitters reported seeing book rams on the unit in March. Some wilderness with good access. Steep, rough country. Areas to look for sheep are between McCullough Pass and Black Mountain.

I like that idea! Not sure I'm going to get down there as often as I like as it's 7 1/2 hours away and I'll be pretty busy, but I'll get down there a a decent amount of time I hope!
