Quotas have been updated to the WY game and fish website. Looks like some of the Antelope areas in the Red Desert got cut by almost 50%. It still boggles my mind that no matter what happens (winter kill, drought and such ) they keep the quota for Deer area 102 at 400 tags.

Also the areas 76 and surrounding are still general. I can't believe that. They need to quota the whole thing and reduce the tags from 300 to like 100 in 78.. Not enough deer in the area and it gets over hunted.

Where are you seeing quota info? After viewing your post I went to the WG&F site and could find no info...

When you go to the WY game and fish website, choose "Plan your Hunt", then select a species, and it's under "Seasons and Types".

PS, Ridgerunner, you sent me a PM, I tried to reply but your inbox is full.

I just drove from Laramie to Salt Lake. Things were pretty green for a majority of the state. At least off of 80. We have a had very very weather temp wise so far. Things are looking good. But I just read that the fawns and calves this year seem to be down.

Time will tell. Antelope are just now dropping around here.

well winter is long past, but how is the summer going? here in Wisconsin, we are like way way ahead on rainfall. we have already bypassed our entire yearly precipitation average. How are things in the Gillette/Buffalo areas? drought? wet? October cant come soon enough. Cant wait to get out there and chase some mulies around.

We haven't had any rain for a couple of weeks but everything is still pretty green. A lot of the pastures the grass is so high you can't see the antelopes legs. Way better than last summer.
