Got about 10" here in town. The hills got anywhere from 16-24". Nice heavy wet snow. Should help some but it will have to rain a lot this spring for it to do any good.

Looks preaty bleak up there. Although, I was up shed hunting on Sunday and saw a herd of about 7-800. They looked good and prego. Looks like Gillette got about 15 inches yesterday. Although if the weatherman was correct the Bighorns where only supposed to get about 6-8 inches. More snow the beggining of next week though. Keep fingers crossed for some more wet heavy white stuff.

Rant- I hate going into work and hearing everyone complaining about fresh snow in April.

glad to see you got some snow. I wish i could send some rain your way from here in wisconsin. we have gotten dumped on all week. I keep watching weather reports hoping to see rain in the N/NE/NC region. It will make for bigger horns and more deer for me to chase around next October! LOL

Only got an inch or two in the Basin-Greybull area. West side of the 'Horns got a little more but not by much.

I heard Lander got 18 inches of wet, heavy snow which is pretty awesome since that's where our water comes from.

We received 20"+ over the past 2 days here in Central WY. Casper Mtn has received over 3' so I'm sure the Shirley's, Laramie Peak, etc. have also received significant snow. We really needed this!!

Hopefully it's not too hard on the deer/antelope. It's hard to tell how much we've gotting here in Laramie due to the wind drifting it up, but I'd guess 6-8" over the past several days that has either blow away or melted. We had a south wind yesterday that melted a bunch. Mostly just cold and WINDY . . . Saw a herd of goats and they looked to be in good shape.

Got about 4" in town here the last couple days. The hills got around 6-8". Heard on the radio that after the last 2 weeks, that the mountains in wyoming are averaging around 92% of normal snowpack. Thats some good news. Now if we could get some more moisture in the lower elevations.

not to whine about it or anything cuz i'm not, but this weather is really putting a damper on my plans for shed hunting and fishing

I just put 1000 miles behind the windshield in the last day and a half from northwest Wyoming to Northwest Colorado and back. The I-80 corridor and south of there got some decent accumulation. Colorado was really getting quite a bit of wet, heavy snow while I was visiting.
