Congrats, those are some good animals. I use to do a combo deer/pronghorn hunt in that area every year. We hunted region B deer & unit 7 pronghorn. We always stayed in Newcastle, it is acool area. I introduced several hunters to the west right there. I would take them to Devil's Tower, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park & through the Black Hills to Sturgis. Got some good memories up there. Thanks for sharing made me look back & smile!

eberle, we tagged out fairly early and went to all those places( actually just passed by sturgis). also, one of our guides was past board member of south dakota air and space museum and took us on a personal tour of the facility. was awesome.

That is one of the biggest antelopes I've seen this tagged this year here. Good job. Glad you like it around here. There's so much more than the major attractions. Lots of scenic routes to take around the NE corner of Wyo. My boss and I are starting a big buck contest next year. If you come back you will have to stop by and check out all the scores and pics. We will have flyers out in all the motels and restaurants.

I helped out with work over a year ago in Newcastle. I saw some pretty decent bucks. All on private land, but they were sure pretty.

Sturgis is a ghost town that time of year anyway! I also forgot to mention Deadwood, lots of cool history there.
