2013 DIY WY Mule Deer pics

Figured I would share a "before" and "after" of my 2013 DIY Public Land muley hunt.

Here is the field photo, I killed this deer about 2.5 hours before sunset and we had around a 7 mile hike back to the truck. It was a late night!



Here is the "after" photo, I do my own taxidermy work. This is a wall pedestal semi sneak, I have a antelope posed exactly the same except looking right. I am thinking about incorporating the two into some kind of DIY Public Land scene. Just gotta find time to do it.

Awesome!! Congrats on your hunt!! I like the unique antlers, very nice. Like the mount as well. Very clean and smooth looking!
I too do taxidermy and headed to Montana this fall and going for deer and elk. Hoping to be lucky enough to do something similar!
