2013 Antelope from Wyoming Hunt Area 69

Hunted area 69 opening day after scouting the area for 3 days prior to the season opener. Killed this antelope at 10:00am on September 15th with a 311 yard shot. Got rained on the entire trip but the landscape looked green and the deer and antelope looked really good. Gonna save up preference points and go for a mukle deer in 3 years.

Saw lots of antelope doe family groups while walking in area 69. I had 3 good antelope bucks scouted for opening day and killed the buck that was in an area I could crawl too without being detected. What I was most impressed with was the amount of mule deer I came upon while walking in the higher elevations. Lots of decent bucks and does with fawns. Looked at the drawing odds in deer area 89 and it looks like 5 prefernece points might get you a tag in this hunt area?

Lots of public land in area 69 plus the Rattlesnake Mountain Hunter Management area is located in this unit as well. No problem finding a place to hunt.

The problem is a lot of point creep on that unit. The points it takes to draw goes up by one almost every year.
