Very nice Matt! I think it's time to quit applying for moose in the lower 48 and head to Alaska. Very cool to see you could do an adventure like that off of ATVs. Loved the Stone sheep footage too. I'm just full of questions! Did you guys run into any caribou? How many actual hunting days were you guys there for?

Yeah UH,

We did see some caribou. We did not see any bears or wolves, just tracks from both. Several Ptarmigan too. We were there for 12 days. We were able to get really deep (like 30 miles deeP) on the wheelers. There are unmaintained and unmapped river trails in a lot of places.

That tundra makes for some weird, challenging hiking too!

The enclosed pickup trailer, Yamaha Rhino, and ATV trailer were all my buddy Austin's. I was on the Kawasaki. The ATV trailer is a brand called ATV Wagon, and it was sweet!. It floats, is waterproof, and bear proof.

This was my first ATV-camp based hunt, and I can see why it is popular in Alaska. Bivy hunting would not be a very practical way to hunt moose in AK.
