What a gorgeous BULL! That is some really neat country! The grizzly bear, you have to tell me within 50 miles of where that is in the great state of Montana! I want to know where you saw that bear! Man he was gorgeous!

Wow Bitteroot Bulls, that is incredible footage of a sweet bull especially in an OTC unit! That is really what it is all about, finding monster bulls in OTC units! Good luck hunting him this season!

Amazing video, just as I expected. How far away were you from the bull?
I was about 1400 yards away. I don't know if he will be there for the season or not, but it is worth a look.

I have video of the grizzly, and another bigger grizzly I will post soon. At first I thought they could be the same bear, but after reviewing the video it is obvious they are not. The other bear is so big he looks like he should be eating salmon on Kodiak, not huckleberries in MT!

Thanks for the compliments on the video everyone!

jst can't wait until season starts! u do know that bull is going 2 the cow's after those antler's harden up? have u found the cow's yet? I hunt near Helena and Ive been following a good seized up herd with about 50-60 head of elk. No bull's around yet, but a good year for calf's. The smaller rag horn's and spikes are bugling hard! Well at least they're tryin! need to post my video of them tryin, it sounds ridiculous.

I don't know where he will be. I wish I did. I have found bulls near their summer range during season often, however. Some bulls, especially some older bulls, seem to start rounding up cows a little later. I think some don't rut at all.

I still think that basin is worth a look.

Good luck to you on the elk you have found!

wow! not rutting at all, that sound's like a good shed hunting spot in the spring. This year i think the bull's will rut earlier because of the cooler year were having. Look's like that spot would hold some big mule deer? Have u seen any?
