Sorry for the pic quality. It was the second bear we killed that day. We were in a hurry since it was right before dark and starting to spit snow so we only took 4 pics and this was the least blurry of them. Where we hunt it is about 49% chocolate, 49% black, and 2% blonde.

My first and only bear shot in the spring. Shot him out of a pop up blind with my bow at 5 yards. Made a beautiful rug.

I?ve only taken one bear and it was black and hunted with hounds. I think when there are a lot of bears around spot and stalk would be fun but we have to use hounds in Nv to be efficient.

That camo pattern on those shorts blend in pretty good with the reds. I didn’t know there were bears in Hawaii. Awesome picture.
