Sorry for the pic quality. It was the second bear we killed that day. We were in a hurry since it was right before dark and starting to spit snow so we only took 4 pics and this was the least blurry of them. Where we hunt it is about 49% chocolate, 49% black, and 2% blonde.

If it were getting dark and starting to spit snow and I was wearing shorts... I'd be in a hurry too!!!

LOL yea that's all I used to wear. I always had a base layer and a pair of rain pants. I was fine most of the time when in camp or sitting there glassing.

My first and only bear shot in the spring. Shot him out of a pop up blind with my bow at 5 yards. Made a beautiful rug.

I?ve only taken one bear and it was black and hunted with hounds. I think when there are a lot of bears around spot and stalk would be fun but we have to use hounds in Nv to be efficient.
