Hey all, Please help. I am buying a new bow and I have narrowed it down to the Bowtech Insanity CPXL or the Hoyt Matrix G3. I am interested in your opinions to help me. I shoot 70# and a 31.5 inch draw.

Been out and finding a few scattered antlers.

I shoot a Remington model 700 30-06. I have never been much into rifle hunting until recently. I am wanting get out to 600 maybe even 1000 yards. I have been looking at getting a longer barrel. Hart has them up to 30 inches. I don't know enough about barrels to make a very informed decision...

Hey all I have been off the grid for a while. Its good to be back. Well I have FINALLY got a few days off and I am headed out to scour the hillside in search of shed antlers. Unfortunately the weather forecast is calling for snow.! Have any of you been out?

My hunting partner was able to slip an arrow into this great muley earlier this season. We were hunting public land in SE Idaho. This is the only pic I have so far I will post more later or get him to join the forum and tell the story of our hunt.

This buck has been hanging around my cabin in SE ID. He might be a real good buck next year.

I just purchased a used Barnett Quad 400 crossbow today. It's shoots pretty fast and accurate. Does anyone have experience hunting with a crossbow? Specifically hunting elk?

Its been in the mid-80's and only getting down to the mid-40's at night in southern WY. Has anyone been out and heard any bugles or seen any rutting activity? I am heading out next week but a little worried about the heat.

We have never hunted in Unit 110 Savage Run area but we did do some mid-day scouting earlier this summer. Its closed to motorized vehicles so I am assuming this will mean less pressure. Anyone have some info or insight they can offer up? Thanks in advance.
