I agree with Scott. I really feel sportsmen need to push back in some of these circumstances. I'm worried that we are allowing things to happen now out of fear and will regret not pushing back in the future. Nebraska closing turkey season is an example... I personally think it's ridiculous...

My family was notified last night we have to quarantine for 14 days due to a potential close contact. The individual was following all recommendations to a tee. He started feeling bad Friday and had a lot grade fever yesterday. Did a drive up test that was negative for the flu so he is...

I haven't made duck out house burger... Interesting idea. We make a lot of jerky from our geese and some big ducks. Any species better than another when it comes to bacon burger?

Yes sir- Out of that herd about 5 minutes after the picture was taken.

This is the same picture AK- just zoomed in with no tripod. Bad quality but proving you right about it being big bull elk country.

Yep... and yours is in big bull moose country! I would gladly trade at least once.

I hear your point guide but what good can the government do when people don't listen anyways? Many still aren't following recommendations and the science people change their mind almost daily. Democrats were screaming about loss of rights on travel restrictions in late January and early...

WOW, thats a great picture. I changed my mind, I want to be there instead!

Grind them with bacon and use the burger for sliders, turkey burgers, breakfast sausage, etc. It is very good. To my knowledge, everyone I have convinced to do this with a bird in the past is now exclusively doing this with all turkeys harvested. I gave the tip to a Kansas outfitter and he...

Nebraska Game and Parks just sent out this tweet - Nebraska Game and Parks @NEGameandParks · 5m NGPC has suspended the sale of nonresident spring turkey hunting permits in order to help prevent the potential for the spread of COVID-19. This is being done to help protect the health of...

Nothing official out but the tags are removed from the website. Looking that way..

First job I ever had was building fence for Pete Burns. He owned a good % of the rodeo stock that was used at Cheyenne Frontier Days. The bulls never gave me any problems but driving T posts and long runs of wire rolling got me a couple times. I learned quickly and by the time I was 16 I...

The problem with the flu shots is they typically are only effective against old strains. I'm not an expert but I believe the shot given this year prevents Covid-14. Hopefully one good thing that will come out of this is better vaccinations on more current strains.

Pump with 600 grain hard slugs... and I would practice a lot. Good chance you only get one or two shots off so better make them count.

I hear you there. I have coached baseball for 20+ years and this is very challenging for me to not be working with the kids. My current group is playing at the 12u level. I had to stop practices on the 13th. I have coached most of them since they were 3 and 4. The thought of a lost season...

Wyoming isn't until the end of May for antelope and mule deer. I know there are some other draws from now until then. Agree go_deep.

Tough to predict right now. I think it will depend how quickly the nationwide restrictions stay in place. The longer this goes, the more likely it will impact the different state draws... and potentially the hunts. I know of some guys who are excited they may draw with fewer points so...

Turning 45 shortly.... I've lived in 21 states. I grew up in Wyoming but left right after college and moved a lot working for a company. I met a pretty girl from Nebraska in 2001 and have been here since. I'm an airflow engineer that travels the country frequently. I'm mainly designing...

I'm with you Winchester. My lab just can't understand why we won't pay constant attention to him. My youngest (11) started online school today. It's kind of a joke imo. It took him 35 minutes to complete the bulk of the days work. He is reading a chapter in a book and then will be...
