I used them for years, most comfortable hunting boot I have ever owned. The soles are pretty soft and like everyone else here has said they do wear out fast. I used to visit the bargain cave at Cabela's every time I was in Green Bay and got lucky several times, I was able to get a few pairs...

Agree 100%, the sale of large chunks of federal lands would be devastating for all outdoor enthusiasts. Instead of ethically managing the land for the American people, harvesting timber and generating revenue and jobs, we get our lumber from Canada and let our forests die, fall down and burn...

I put in for a Wyoming Elk tag with 0 points so I have about a 6% chance of drawing, so unless I get really lucky it will be just points for me.

Bummer

You may want to take a look at the West side of the Bighorns, Areas 40, 41. They are the only areas that I am somewhat familiar with that you have a chance of drawing with 12 pps.

My daughter killed this buck in the UP of Michigan a couple weeks ago, she's been a killing machine these last few years.

That's awesome, Congratulations!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and family!

Good Luck CC!

Wow, looks like you have had a great trip, congratulations!

I agree CC, one thing that I have found over the past couple of years is that there are some truly wonderful young people in the latest generation, all the craziness that we see on television doesn't represent all of them. Hopefully in month or so I will be posting my daughters first elk picture.

That's awesome congratulations!!

Hard to beat a Leopold

I have always purchased whatever was on sale and I agree with ScottR, the Ameristep makes a pretty good reasonably priced product. The problem I have had is the for some reason the bears will not leave them alone. I have had three blinds destroyed by bears, very frustrating.

I brought two antelope heads back to Michigan a few years ago. They are not on the list of banned animals or at least they weren't then. From what I have heard they are not capable of getting or spreading CWD.

It is somewhat refreshing to see a billionaire pouring his money into hunting causes instead of anti-gun, anti-hunting liberal crap. At least every year I get to see pictures of some magnificent animals. That ram is absolutely incredible. I have eaten Jimmy Johns several times usually lunch...
