Keep the pics coming Jim!

That's my fish cleaning house :). Its a mess right now. A word of advice for anyone wanting to build a concrete countertop for outdoor use; make certain the countertops are in 100% shade or do not use glass in your pour. We added blue glass pieces to the top of the counter. But what...

Haven't been out for a while. Was able to get out for a bit after work yesterday. Size is a little smaller than prior catches but still ended up with 3 quarts of filets.

Congrats!! I don't have any advice but looking forward to some hunt pics!

I shoot em with a 30-06 only because I don't have a 25-06.

My daughter was only joking trying to get a "rise" out my Ex which is very easy to do. Heck, I don't even try and she blows up at me :) Seriously though, college is way too damn expensive now just to go party. I've been able to save for both kids in 529 plans but didn't save enough. Can't...

So we had a 2 hour drive each way to the college. My ex-wife was talking to my daughter that she will really need to buckle down and study in college, you know, actually open a book. To which she replied "Mom, C's get Degrees". I couldn't help but laugh.

I did a college visit with my daughter yesterday. Our tour guide introduced herself "My name is XXXXX. I go by the pronouns she and her". At that point, I knew I was in trouble. We were standing outside in the quad area of the school and a wasp was bothering my daughter and I. Growing up...

Will 5 points be able to get even a general unit if 90/10 passes?

Wow. Just drove through there a couple weeks ago from Estes Park to Grand Junction. Glad we didn't run into that. Detour would have been beautiful but make the drive 2x or 3x as long I would guess.

do you not think his vortex binos are good enough? I'm kinda in the same boat, I have a nice pair of leupold 10x50 olympics, good glass but not gold rings, probably about the same or a little better than the OP's vortex's. I seemed to be able to spot elk in meadows a few miles away but...

Yeah. Its unbelievable how bad these new cans are. There is no way that less gas is spilled with these new containers than the ones from years ago.

the wheel wells are double walled and the salt gets in between the steel and rusts from the inside out. There is no way to wash it out.

Like the content, not a fan of the whole "savage rifle" angle.

You guys with old trucks and no rust just suck! Trucks around here will have rusted out wheel wells in about 5 years. Damn things aren't even paid for yet. Midwest winters.

Mike said "garlic pepper" but I think he meant "garlic powder". Mike's kitchen cabinets are beautiful. Are they western red cedar?

Do you know if that paint job were the colors used when built?

Already mentioned a bunch but I would do the 7mm-08.

Everything I read talks about serving the venison raw. But these guys start the dogs on raw venison once the pup is weaned. I'm far from an expert but I would think cooked venison would certainly be better than any processed dog food. I'm not sure on the raw vs cooked.

good question. Both venison and salmon are great sources of protein. I know salmon has alot of omega-3 acids which are great for heart health; something the sled dogs definitely need.
