Thank You my friend...... I was in Utah for the month of August my dad had passed away than I was home for about 2 weeks before I went to Casper for the disabled veteran's hunt.

Wonder how many hunters are going to turn in their tags for Utah and Colorado??

I'm 53 years old and the area my friend wants me to hunt deer in for the rut takes at least 19 points and I have 8 or I can draw the general tag and hunt in October instead of the rut........ any advice??

Wyoming is going to increase their cost for Antelope, Deer and Elk points starting January 1st 2027 75.00 dollars each for Antelope, Deer and Elk.

I would call Colorado Parks and Wildlife or call several Game Wardens where in the units you have been looking at.

I have the Jim Shockey trigger shooting sticks but I got to thinking I probably can't even get prone to shoot with my knees and back so it doesn't make sense for me to put bipods on my rifle.

Are bipods for that attach to rifles worth it? If so what is a good one that's not too expensive?

What is a decent jacket that is not bulky for a December Elk hunt? I won't probably be walking much and something that is not too expensive.
