Public Land Colorado - Highest of Highs & Lowest of Lows

This is one of the best and worst posts I have ever shared on this forum. I want to start by saying that I am very proud of my wife for getting her first elk with a bow. It was text book execution/shot and it happened on the first night we were in camp. Located the bull, stepped on him, pissed...

    So far it's been tough

I went up a jeep trail a few years ago with a side by side. I have no clue how anyone could have driven even a jeep up that trail. lol There were parts and pieces from every make and model lying around the trail. It was a shame to see so much junk lying in the woods....

    California bans trapping...

This topic just goes to show what can be taken away from your if you let the govt get too powerful. When you have a bunch of wackos behind the govt pushing and advocating for something with little opposition its even worse. Its no different than the wolf issue. And NO I'm not trying to...

    Major Poaching Bust In Montana

I always look at situations like this and how people have been doing it for so long and think to myself: For every one doing it that gets busted, there are 9 that are getting away with it. They knew damn well what they were doing. They should have lost privileges to enter the country. I will...

    Tire chains

Dont forget the small pump compressor and a plug kit and the floor jack and the dewalt impact gun. lol These items never leave my truck. Another thing that should be noted about the chains is - Dont wait until your stuck to put them on and dont wait until you need them to try them out for...

    Tire chains

Do yourself a favor. Spend the money on these. They are worth it. Get the 7mm boron alloy and have them install cams on them. I had cams on mine. If they wont install cams on them get them anyhow. These are tough tire-chains. I have never broke a pair. I welsed a long handle on my cam wrench...

    Long hauling meat

Get a good cooler. Keep adding ice. Keep the drain plug pulled and keep the meat out of the slimy water in the bottom. Meat can stay in a cooler for a long time. An old broken chest freezer would work well to use as a "giant cooler". I dont think I would freeze the meat then thaw it to...
