i have a 338 ruger 77 i plan on using for elk this year, its loaded with an older leapould scope but just aint happy with the scope. what do u guys recomend for a quality scope that i wont pay over 550 for? i love nikon, redfield i heard is making some great turns on thier optics, any feedback?

anyone familiar with units 40 and 42? how much private land will i run into when i get there? ill do some scouting for sure but allways best to go in with an idea, thanks!

i drew on a super hun tag for idaho elk! huge thing for me. anyone with any insight on great areas please pm me. born and raised in idaho and hunted every year since i was 12 and know where i can find som 350 bulls but any additional insight would b welcomed, thanks.

i lucked out and drew a super tag for elk this fall, needless to say im pumped!!!! anyone with any info on where i should go would rock. i allready know where to find som 350 + class bulls but with this tag im not going to turn my nose to any unit. any pm"s would b great. been hunting this...
