    Camofire Replacement

Black ovis was part of them, don’t remember how they got mixed together. When they first started, I was under the impression they were getting all the stuff wholesalers didn’t want to have an inventory anymore. At some point that changed because it seemed like they always had stuff in stock.

Small Calibers for Big Game Hunting

I grew up hunting deer with a 243Win and never had an instance where I thought I was under gunned. After shooting a few elk with my 264WinMag, I would have no problem taking it on any hunt. These smaller calibers have my attention with the age of being able to hunt being younger than when I was...

    Camofire Replacement

When they first started and had only 1 deal a day, it was usually a good price and at some point they got to big and the deals seemed to go away. Every now and then you would get something unique or a deal that made it worth watching for. I’m curious if someone picks up their inventory and tries...

The Corner-Crossing War Is (Mostly) Over…For Now

Depends on how the state’s trespass law reads. A few years ago Idaho changed theirs, so now it’s up to the hunter to know the boundaries.

    Black Bear Baiting / Season

Go for it. Especially if you have baited it in the past. You should be able to pull some bears, as you get closer to the end of the month the smaller bears or ones looking for that last easy meal will show. The biggest thing is to get a lot of scent in the air, so they know there is food again.

    Archery Rangefinders

The Leupold held up. Packed it on me, in my pack, and in the pannier boxes at one point. Held light good enough to use to last shooting light. Didn’t get to try it on an animal was the only thing. For the money, it was definitely hard to beat.

    Archery Rangefinders

I ended up just going with the Leupold RX1200i and so far it seems to do the job. It is way better than the last time I tried a Leupold, so I hope it holds up hunting.

    Archery Rangefinders

Leica is one of the best rangefinders I have, but it doesn’t do angles for archery. It will do with rifle cartridges.

    Archery Rangefinders

That Leupold looks interesting with the Archery mode. How does it do in low light? I’ve stayed away from for a long time because they use to not be the best low light optic.

    Archery Rangefinders

What is everyone using for an archery rangefinder that has the compensator for angled shots? Not worried about long distance, just need something that’s quick and has good glass for archery ranges.
