Back to the beginning .... the system works fine, just maybe not the way you'd like it to.
If you don't want to apply, please don't.
If someone is forcing you to apply, or do anything else against your will ... call 911.
There are no perfect systems. This one works just fine.
The hunters who turned those high-point tags back in obviously had some unforseen issues pop up.
Now you have a chance to apply for them ... good for you.
CPW actually has dozens of things to do this time of year ... this is just one of them.
The system isn't broken at all, it's just not doing what you'd like it to.
You might be happier if you'd consider hunting in another state with a different system that suits you better.
