You can actually watch the jig dropping down and you can position it right in front of the fish. We were using braid with a flourocarbon leader and you could once in a while see the braided line. Almost shooting fish in a barrel.

The guide i had on lake michigan had a live scope. That was my first time seeing it used in person. Holy smokes is it good. Maybe too good. Its out of your budget but i recommend investigating it prior to buying anything.

Caught some smallies on lake michigan. East winds put a damper on the bite but managed about 20 fish over 2 full days. Smoke from the wildfires in canada was horrible.

I did a little research. If you live in a metropolitan area in Illinois the gas must be at least 10% ethanol. I guess that is why I cannot find it. Closest station is about 120 miles away.

Ethanol free is extremely hard to find in illinois. Racing shops seem to be the only place to get it.

I've made the switch to the already mixed fuel for my chain saws and weed eaters. I believe its methanol with a 10 year self life. Its really expensive but was tired of fighting with ethanol related problems. Ethanol is horrible on engines if they are left to sit any amount of time. If you...
