    Best unit in Wy?

Hilltop is spot on. The other thing I can add is pick some units that have doe/fawn tags and apply for those. Gets you in the unit and boots on the ground to see what is there. Oh ....and it gets some good eating in your freezer.

    Name That Puppy!

The kennel I got my current Lab from requires that their kennel name appear in the AKC registered name. It's in the purchase agreement.

    Ammunition shortage

I have been using 3 shot groups for quite awhile. My .300 like RE 25 with 180 Nosler Partition. I am working up some 150's for deer. I also chronograph everything when I am working on a new load.

    Ammunition shortage

I am going to work up a new load for my .300 Wby using a 150 gr bullet. I have plenty of bullets and primers, but might be a bit short on RL22 which is the powder I want to use. I usually load 3 rounds of each load and see how it groups. Anyone use 2 round groups? That could stretch my powder...

    Ammunition shortage

That was true in High School. When I was playing college football, team doctor looked you over pretty good when you had an injury. If it was serious, he was the boss. Minor stuff, the coach told him what to do. I am sure things have changed a lot since I played in 1959 to 1963.

    Ammunition shortage

My son owns his own trucking business(he owns his tractor and contracts to a freight hauler). He is really busy and does real well financially. He told me that the new computerized log books and drug testing has really depleted the driver pool. There is a shortage of drivers for sure.

    I Found A OOP's Today

I load exactly the way Jim does it. I too have a Chargemaster. It is really great.

    I Found A OOP's Today

Many years ago when I started reloading, a couple of friends and I were trying to work up a 12 ga 2 3/4" magnum waterfowl load. We played around with powders and wads and found something we thought was the one. We took off for a weekend of duck hunting at the Salton Sea's Wister Waterfowl...

    I Found A OOP's Today

I found a round of 30-06 that way on some reloads my Dad loaded. I only pulled a few bullets to weight the powder and find out what he had for a load. When I found the one that was about 1/2 full, I quit pulling bullets. I weighed the rest of the ammo (50 rounds as I remember) and found 4 more...

    Hunting CO?

I definitely agree with Jim, especially the 4 rifle season options. Lots of public land and really pretty easy to access some really great hunting areas. Sure the really famous units are hard to draw, but Colorado manages them that way. If you do your research and get boots on the ground in...

Y ou could do it that way. Our FFL at the show is doing some that way, but it does cost extra.

    Gun Shows

The dealer/FFL holder at our show did not want to hold them for sure. I lost one sale to a guy in Moab because he didn't want to come back a week later to pick up the gun. I checked several website this morning for information about the background check and there did not seem to be any changes...

    Gun Shows

Guns Shows get a lot of bad press and criticism in the media. Every state has their own rules. My local shooting club here in SW Colorado puts on an annual gun show as a way to raise money to operate our club. This last weekend we held our 2021 show. It was a huge success and the club made over...
