When I put my list in I was thinking of just muzzle loaders. But for the others I love shooting my TC Contender in any of the calibers that I have it in. The 7-30 Waters is a blast along with the .357 Herrett and .30 Herrett. There is something to be said about long range pistol shooting.

The tag is good for the whole unit where you have the tag for, excluding private lands unless you have the owners permission. Also State Trust Lands could be off limits depending on who they are leased to and if they close them.

I never have liked carrying my rifle anywhere besides in my hands or arms. I have a pack with the rifle sleeve and I just don't like it. I was asked once why I wasn't using it and I just said that I use my rifle as a counter balance when hiking, it has helped me to avoid a few spills.
