Where would you move to if you had your choice of any western State to live in?

I have a natural gas hot water boiler system. I would wager that most of the homes you saw have natural gas, if not they'll heat with electricity

Where would you move to if you had your choice of any western State to live in?

People are getting away from burning wood, they don't have the time to collect and split it. I did away with my wood burning stove 25 years ago and haven't had a fire in my fireplace in 15 years. I still have 3 or so cords split and stacked out in my wood shed.

How Do You Breakdown an Elk?

That is where a lot of people get confused between a either sex tag or a male or female tag. It is just easier to leave proof of sex on the animal. Then if you have antler restrictions in the area that you are hunting then bring out either the head or skull cap with antlers/horns

    Colorado Secondary Draw

With the states making the DWR pay more and more of their way on their own budget I can understand them going to post pay and getting as many applicants as possible for that application fee. Arizona also switched over to post pay a number of years ago.

    Colorado Secondary Draw

Utah did the same thing a number of years ago. Being a non resident I had to pick the hunts that I wanted to put in for. It was hard to come up with $3000-$5000 to put in for all the hunts that I wanted so I had to pick and choose.. When they went to post pay the application skyrocketed...

    Colorado Secondary Draw

Just as a whim I called them back today after I simmered down a little. The deer applications were shut down today 6/16 due to a glitch in the system. Can you imagine that? They will be back online on 6/17

    Colorado Secondary Draw

Since they can't put the application money into the bank to gather interest without paying that interest back to the applicant they will stay with the process of post pay. They also have a increase of applicants because of post pay that brings in more money.

That's what they told me, that they were likely hunters who didn't pay for the tag. But CP&W policy is that if it takes 5 or fewer PP's that they just go to the secondary draw automatically, only those tags that take 5 or more PP's go to the next applicant in line.

    Colorado Secondary Draw

Another report on the secondary draw. I just put in for my hunt using the correct unit and it bombed out, it said that the unit is invalid for this choice. I'm going to wait until tomorrow before I call them again. I need to cool down some.

    Colorado Secondary Draw

Just got off of the phone and was told to go pound sand. From what I was told these 5 tags were turned back to the draw because applicants didn't pay for them. Their policy is that any tag that requires 5 PP's or less that they go to the secondary draw with those that require 5 PP's or more...

    Colorado Secondary Draw

I sent them a email and I have a alarm for 7:59 so that I can also call them at 8:00. I think that this is going to get interesting before I am done.

    Colorado Secondary Draw

Well the list is out for the secondary draw and to my amazement I have found that there are tags available for the unit that I put in for on my third choice in the primary draw. Me smells something fishy going on here. As most know I couldn't believe that I didn't draw a deer tag in the...

    When Was The First....

Knowing my dad I was a grand old age of 5 months. The first one that I actually have any recollection of I was 4, and then I remember quite a bit about the one when I was 5. Dad had a old 49 Mercury and we couldn't make it up a hill to where he liked to camp so he backed down to where some...
