I am just trying to help you break 1000 posts ha. Good luck this weekend and I wanted to make sure the guys here saw what you had worked on.

You will run into hunters in all of those units, all have elk, all will be a LOT of work to pack out more than one animal.

Personally, I try to hunt in places that won't have a lot of camps that close. Stepping on other hunters does happen but I try to avoid it if at all possible.

That looks like it was way too much fun! My trips on the boat this summer all involved fishing poles.

In my early 20’s I had a cheap camper for archery elk hunting and late season elk. Wasn’t as rough as pictured, but lots of good memories!
