    At 56 it is tough

Looks good to me! Keep up the good work. A lot of people don't realize how hard it is to loose that kind of weight.

CC. They touched on that in the video. I think there is more to come on that.

License Distribution Public Involvement – Process Update Proposal

CPW is making WAY too much money selling points for them to give up on it. They are going to continue with some form of points system or another. There is just too much easy money in it for them. Right now I feel that they are just trying to make the hunting better by addressing sportsmen's...

License Distribution Public Involvement – Process Update Proposal

Without getting too deep in the weeds I would assume that the PL doe tag is not an A list tag and changes being made may not effect your ability to draw it. But I could be wrong. Also I would think that those doe tags did fall into the first choice spectrum, they likely would not get applied for...

License Distribution Public Involvement – Process Update Proposal

CC, I see your side of the coin for sure. Unfortunately, whether you are a NR or a Res, the idea of building points while still drawing a lesser tag or even an OTC tag and going hunting is an unsustainable model given the amount of applicants in the point pool at this point. They are going to...

    Moose

Yes. The guide I knew in Ontario hunted moose with an open sighted 30-30. Killed a pile of them too.

License Distribution Public Involvement – Process Update Proposal

License distribution public involvement process update proposal (state.co.us) I sure would like to know exactly who comes up with some of these hairbrained ideas. Point banking? Point Averaging? Outfitter Welfare? Lord have mercy. I did this that someone mentioned this: Require that...

    When do you start...

I try to only plan year to year pretty much. Too many other red herrings to deal with. Scheduling the Alaska bear hunt was way to stressful for me. They make you apply about 2 years ahead of time. (Which is ridiculous IMO).

    Secondary Draw

They don't hate you. They love you and your money. But, well, it's just that they love non-resident money more. So would I if I was getting 13X the money for selling a tag to a NR. OH BTW, I'll sell you My Ram truck for $390,000...Or should I sell it to my resident neighbor for $30,000? Meh, I...

Draw Results for the Leftover Draw

DCV, If it makes you feel any better IF my group had applied for the antelope area we are after this year we still wouldn't have gotten it. Which really surprises me actually. Point creep is growing bad and we might have to sit it out for another year or two. And that's applying for a special...

    2022 Fishing thread

We caught 170 crappie overt the 4th of July weekend. I didn't get to take a single picture. The yellowjackets are so bad at camp this year that we cant lay the fish out for a good photo. Must be a big nest of them pretty close. Should have taken a cooler picture but those don't really show...

Investments - what has served you well?

Funny part about being heavily invested in the S&P 500 is that when a person looks at the summary of funds available to them in their 401K plan, the S&P is beating most if not all of the target retirement fund plans available with a MUCH lower expense ratio. Not only does the S&P produce more...
