    Wolves

There is a article in a paper today stating that two of the wolves came from a pack in Oregon that had a habit of preying on livestock. Oregon got rid of their problem and gave it to Colorado.

We need to get a poll going for when the first head of livestock gets killed along with one for when the first wolf gets shot

I can understand keeping the release site under their hats. Unfortunately there are crazy radicals in the hunting world just like the rest of it and I can understand them not wanting to turn it into a circus with a bunch of protesters as it might of turned out if they would of released the...

    Prime Rib Roasts

I've actually been hovering around the spiral cut hams at City Market waiting for them to drop a little in price. I picked up one last year that was so cheap that the checker went back to get himself one or two.

The only problem is that I think that it is too late for the 2024 ballot, so it would have to go onto the 2026 ballot. Way too late to do much good. I'd just let the court case play out. However something along the lines of banning the managing wildlife through the ballot box might be a good...

A little far to drive for me. They shut down the Safeways in Glenwood Springs quite a while ago. I don't think that Grand Junction even has one anymore

Ammo Prices are On The Way UP

The last time that I saw 22Lr go on sale before Cabela's became Bass Pro Jr I picked up 5,000 rounds so I'm good for the duration with them. This past summer Natchez had a price that I couldn't beat on .40 S&W so I picked up 1000 rounds of CCI reloadable brass case rounds, so I'm good to go...

Ammo Prices are On The Way UP

Now you not only need to deal with the lack of supply of your favorite ammo but starting next year you are going to be paying more for what you do find. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/ammo-prices-set-to-rise-substantially/ar-AA1l9Rjy?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=bbd222dea2574f83b9dae1a58f03b643&ei=40

    Super Tag Tickets

It's a lot like playing Power Ball, Mega Millions, or any of the other lotteries out there. Someone has to win and if you don't play you can't win.

Wyoming or Arizona? I haven't purchase any in Arizona for a number of years. A friend did win the Swaroski optics package a number of years ago down in Arizona.

    Update From Utah Wildlife Board

Utah Wildlife Board just got rid of variable power scopes and dropped the maximum magnification down to 1x for all muzzle loader hunts. This brings scopes back to what they were back in 2015 when they allowed any magnification. If anyone has a 1x24 Vortex Crossfire scope they might get a good...

    Utah Antelope Island Buck

It'll be interesting if the draw tag holder post his buck somewhere, but I am sure that it will be out there.
