(to answer your question above "tim") I have used a combination of moving in on them (still hunting) when they will keep talking to you, but just won't budge. I have had some success with this, but have been busted and just boogered the birds quite a few times. I've found for me, patience works...

That thing is beautiful, great work, I consider myself to be a good carpenter also, but those boats are beyond that, they are works of art!

Finished the season with a nice Tom in the big timber. I started off with a jake early on then finished up with a couple nice Toms'. We can get three spring turkeys, but are only allowed to kill one per day. Our birds are doing pretty well I think considering the long winter we just came...

They are great fun to hunt. They can be amazingly tough to get to shotgun/bow range at times. Sounds like I need to come visit tim in ID :)

This one was the 15 year old. I haven't found the card yet but it was 15 or 16 Sorry for all the pics, but I do love bear hunting :). Good table fare here also! I have a bunch more pics of bears and have the age cards for most of them, which is kind of cool.

This is my 2022 fall bear that I'm looking forward to getting the age card back on. I'd guess he is at least 10+ This old bald face guy I shot during the Spring 2022 hunt came back at 13 years old.

I picked up one of the 10x10 used/looks new for $300 the other day. I hunt solo a lot and my old cabelas AK dome tent is about worn out finally after 20 years or so. I'm excited to try this out!
