I can only agree with parts of this plan. Honestly, I'd try another approach. Just a few things I don't like. Not saying you won't get some results, but I don't fully agree with the methodology as most other folks don't either.

Been in the area a few years back. Lot of animals and mild terrain. You should be into elk if you play the wind right. I can't stress this enough. Be wary traveling throughout NM (in towns), made me nervous

I generally start around Memorial Day weekend and ramp up my efforts throughout the year really starting to focus on an area and particular animals in August/September for the October 1st archery opener. The only time I'm not actively scouting in some fashion is February thru May.

Not much going on for turkey this spring in eastern Ohio. Gas/Oil exploration has all animals trying to figure things out so the old standards don't apply. I had to scout for 3 months to find the bigger bucks in my areas and even then I could not pattern them. Turkey locations were even worse...

I'm still hitting the gym 4 days per week and running 5 days. I've also been doing a long bike ride about once every week or so as I got a new sweet gravel bike (Giant Advance Revolt 0) I've done several 50+ milers with the longest being 80mi. I plan to bike from Pitt to DC in early July...
