Only so many applicants can ‘dump’ points each year based on tag limitations. It will take a few years for those wanting to go so to be capable of doing so. The number of applicants buying into the system of 1-3 pts may be a better indicator.

The Diamondbacks are one of the best entry level bino’s for the money IMHO. However the OP was looking at upgrading. To me it makes the most sense.
I’ll echo these comments in addition to better clarity (eye fatigue) in addition to better light gathering capability for when it matters most (sunrise & sunset).
At this point I feel investing your rental money in a nicer high-end pair of binoculars is the way to go. You will always need them and can rent or purchase a spotter in the future.
There is an easy test you can perform to see what it actually does and how it actually does affect long rage impact. I was surprised how important it actually was at that point!
I’m still killin in the gym l’m hammering core 3 days on 1 day off, and working on my 5k-10k speed. I’ve cut 45sec off my mile repeats. From 6:50 to 6:05 per mile in past few months. Not bad for my size and build. 🥳
