I am very lucky to get it. Ruger didn't make very many #1's in .300 Wby and I bought it used off the internet. It was in the factory box with all the Ruger info and was unfired. I paid #1200.00 for it about 5 years ago. It shoots less than moa out to 500 yards ,which is a far as I have shot it.

I have been shooting a .300 Wby for years. I have a beautiful Ruger#1b in .300 Wby with a Leupold VXIII 4x12 on it with the Leopold Ballistic Turret tuned to my reloads.

I got an email too, saying I wasn't selected. After applying at least 10 times, this is the first time that I got an email telling me about not being selected.

Unfortunately I don't share your view. The private land owners do own the land and they do ranch for a living. But when game animals start eating their hay, etc, the scream like hell to the state and want to be compensated for the PUBLIC"S animals eating their product. They get tags which they...

I am pretty old school and I have a hard time with the "new " stuff being used for shooting and hunting today. I had a tough time with the composite stocks when they first came out, but for a hunting rifle they are hard to beat. So what do I know.......!!!

WOW.....woke up this morning to a white Christmas. Got a little snow last night, first we have had since early November (remember my 3rd season elk/deer hunt got snowed out!). Won't last, it's been too warm. Santa blessed us.
