Well, when I first got it it wouldn’t eject. So I sent it back to Kimber and the did repair it fre of charge. I’ve not had any issues since. I do however wish I didn’t have a clip. I would much rather have no clip like my M70

I think I bought mine a few years ago, kimber hunter. Not wildly expensive, shoots well, M70 action, light and ugly enough I don’t care if I scratch it. Kinda like a good pick up.

Thank for everyone’s input. I elected to try for an antelope hunt this year. I was leaning that way initially and the feedback here solidified my decision.

What’s considered back pack distance? I can do day hunts hours from my truck, I do it often here in Oregon. I guess I should clarify I’m how much im willing to hike in and out a day. I would rather hike for two three hours and sleep in a comfortable camp, especially when I’m solo.

I do have several antelope areas in mind, just haven’t researched if and which ones should be at full potential this year.

I sold this 77 about ten years ago for $4000. I sure wish I had it today, I can’t believe what they are going for now. It was a the Silverado with 400 small block and 400 trans. Straight as an arrow with zero rust. The only rig I’ve ever regretted selling.
