Had I knew then what I know now I would have gotten a .30 Cal can. The bigger caliber can can be used on smaller caliber guns. I thought they all were caliber specific so now that I have a .223 and a .22 now I want a .30 so I can cover all bases.
Thank you for the advice ! I will give it a try.

This is the Ruger I’m considering for the can.
Their bogo sale was for a .22 can. Once I got it and saw how small it was I looked into what the uses would be for such a small can. It seems to be used for a small pistol. I wanted one for a Rugger 10-22 but I think this is way too small and wouldn’t do much. I guess I’m in the market for a .22...
Crispi is also my go to. I have had about 6 pairs throughout the years. I have no reason to try anything else because they fit my feet so well. They also break in very quickl.
I’ve hunted out of Rock Springs. Pretty much anywhere you go to the north there were Antelope everywhere. That may have change the last few years but when I was there lots of Pronghorn all over.
Well that sure stinks. I’m surprised it’s been that dry there. We have gotten plenty of moisture the last few years but that is a different part of the world compared to Reno.
I know for me there sure isn’t many deer in the woods anymore and to find a buck more then 2-3 years old is almost unheard of.
This might be just what’s needed to make a difference...
