1st archery elk opener that I havent been in the woods in 7 years. NW Colorado has more forage than the guys were expecting. Seeing small groups of elk being elk. We go up and set camp the 11th for a cow muzzle loader tag and a couple bear tags. Good luck all and be safe.

Binos for your needs of patterning elk size animals is fine. Eye fatigue is the driving factor in my opinion. 1- One end of the spectrum is spending a legit 6-10 hours a day on a glassing spot. 2- Other end is getting to a spot, glass animals, put binos away then go chase animals. Scenario 2...
