    My just one pack has packed a lot of animals. And it smells that way. What is the best way to wash a pack? big commercial washer? Take to a dry cleaner, let it air dry and deal with it? thanks Tim

    So you are on a backpack hunt and take a wolf, hunt over or keep hunting?

    Curious as to what others think. But you are on a backpack hunt, and you take a wolf. do you end the hunt and get the wolf hide out or do you skin the wolf hang it somewhere and keep hunting for your intended quarry?

    does a 3 day multi day raft trip count as exercis?

    Another couple and I are going to raft the grand ronde river in north east Oregon. Does that count as exercise? completely self supported, rowing my fully loaded raft. should be fun. the wife and I before our 135 mile salmon river float a couple of years ago.

    What a normal mountain snowpack looks like for north idaho on May 1st.

    Saturday may 10th. last ride of the year. send it season has officially ended for me. I have to work next weekend, than memorial day weekend, and than a multiday raft trip. see you again next December mr and mrs cornice. god, I love cornice jumping.

    I got mine in 2007 and it works great. I do have the 4 man. which would actually be 4 kids. 3 grown men will not fit. unless they are around 5 feet tall. 2 people it works awesome. I mainly use mine, solo on bike pack trips. I can lay in my sleeping bag and get a fire going in the stove...

    2009 stone sheep, cloudveil pants, noname shirt, summer sucks ball cap. some of us have been using non hunting clothing for hunting in the mountains for years. just pick up earth tones and you can blend in and have technical clothing.

    I was snowmobiling yesterday in north Idaho. Depending on your situation, excellent snowpack for may 1st. Might have to keep riding for awhile. For others, bad snowpack, you aint getting in the high country for awhile.
