So little bit of hijacking with this post, but my wife smoked some tenderloins from one of last years whitetails and it was phenomenal!

I would go with 7 if those are the two choices. Several here have had success with the 7 PRC and it knocked down a moose on film for us last year.

Montana tag arrived for me and I suspect that my Wyoming tags will be soon as well.

Today was a shoulder maintenance day. Just did some very light weights at a wide variety of movement ranges. Will be mowing the yard this evening.

Got two workouts in this weekend, then I got one this morning. It's kind of fun to see how things work on the step counter as well. Brutal wind over the weekend broke trees at our house so I got to clean that up. Racked up a bunch of steps.

I need to do this soon. With what I have planned hunt wise there may need to be a freezer clean out.

Just talked with a landowner in my WT area, he gave me the green light to start placing trail cams in mid to late July! I'm excited. Now to place them in a couple spots to dial in the sensitivity so I burn through memory cards like a banshee. The spot I will place them is a little further...

At this point in time you might be able to buy a used Sig which is awesome in your price range.

They actually have some big time predator management going on with hunts. It's a good play on their part, hope it's not too late.

I got a type 3 deer tag for close to home as well as some doe/Fawn whitetail tags. I got a second choice antelope tag as well that I will try to squeeze in a hunt with my son(s) depending on how it works out timing wise. With an elk/deer hunt in Montana already on the books the results didn't...
