Honestly mine is too. We have had to cut his food back as he was gaining weight pretty fast. Working a lab in 100 degree weather just isn't safe unless it's in the water. We do that when we can. Looking forward to cooler weather so we can get him back into bird shape.

Literally any big game caliber shooting any legal bullet will be fine. I prefer to shoot them with bonded, controlled expansion bullets to keep meat loss to a minimum. My last several were with a 30-06 and 165 grain Hornady interbond. Almost no meat loss with a behind the shoulder shot.
