I agree with JimP on almost everything he has said. I use a .30 cal bullet that was designed over 50 years ago. It shoots sub moa and kills. (Nosler Partition). The load I use in my 30-06 & 25-06 I developed then 40 years or so ago. I do like to play around with my .220 AI Swift, fun to work...

I only load 180 gr Nosler Partitions in my .300 Wby, so my work and data is probably no good for anything you guys are doing.

I do like JimP does. I use Lizard Litter for media. It is walnut shells that I get from a pet shop. I pay about $10 for a #40 sack...way cheaper than Lyman or other commercial media and does just as good a job.

I've seen several bucks over the last 50 years that had pretty strange antlers. I shot one and it didn't have any balls. Really fat & great eating. I've also seen them with weird antlers when the deer was previously injured.

I like it because it moves 4th season even later!

Basically burn rate in the Reloader Powders decrease as the number gets higher. RE 19 is slower that RE 16, etc. I've played around with this series of powder and really like the results, just have to find the right combination.
