I got to 40 on this one but I was waiting for a broadside shot. Could have tried a frontal for 5-8 minutes while he was feeding but I’m not that great and archery yet to try that kind of shot. The wind busted me just as he stood up. I was at full draw but didn’t have time to make a clean shot.

I didn’t get one but rifle opens Oct 11. I did get close. 50 yards on this bear and 40 on another. Medium size bears but I was looking for a blond or a big chocolate. I got close to another bear but it was a small chocolate. I’ll try to post a few videos and see if they work.

These are of my hunting buddy’s buck from central Nv. He had some scope/rangefinder issues and was shooting low. He missed a bigger buck the day before we had stalked for 3 hrs. Once we figured out the issue it was too late on that buck. We found this one coming into a meadow late morning...

Predators are a huge part of the decline imo. Also I think the fires have cause so much habitat loss the animals have been forced to move

I’ve used Stealth Cam and have been happy with them. I’ve used the less expensive cameras and they seem to last weeks on the batteries

Thank you Yes right there at 80”. Only thing he’s missing is some length but that’s it. He has everything else.

I think I need to make sure Jeff has his eyes open when I take his photos. lol there are 3 or 4 where he’s blinking.

My buddy and hunting partner Jeff and I took this buck today. Jeff had some rifle issues and was shooting about 4-5 inches low at 300 yards. He hit him low twice then we figured out we had a problem. Third shot with a correction put him down for good.
